Return & Refund Policy

1. No returns — store voucher instead

Because sarees, kurtas, sherwanis and other garments are handled individually and many are handcrafted, we do not accept physical returns of products, including for genuinely defective or damaged items. Instead, if an item you received is confirmed defective or damaged, we will issue you a store voucher for the full value of that item, which you can use towards your next order with Maa Export And Import. We do not accept claims for reasons such as a change of mind, incorrect size selection, or minor natural variations in colour, print or embroidery that are typical of handloom and hand-finished textiles.

2. Reporting window — 15 days

Any defective item must be reported to us within 15 days of the product being received. Please email us at ankeshanand809@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photographs of the issue. Requests raised after 15 days from delivery will not be eligible for a voucher.

3. How the voucher works

Once a defective item is verified, we issue a store voucher equal to the value of that item. The voucher can be redeemed against any future order on our website and does not expire within the validity period communicated at the time of issue. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.

4. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a defective item for a replacement instead of receiving a voucher, we're happy to arrange that — however, the extra shipping cost for sending the replacement item will need to be borne by the customer. Please mention that you'd prefer an exchange when you report the issue, and we'll share the shipping cost and next steps before proceeding.

5. Condition for a claim

To be eligible for a voucher or exchange, the defect must be reported with clear photographs within the 15-day window, and the item must not show signs of use, wash or alteration beyond the defect being reported.

6. How to start a claim

1. Email ankeshanand809@gmail.com within 15 days of delivery with your order number, a short description of the defect, and photos.
2. Our team will review your request and confirm if the item qualifies as defective.
3. If approved, let us know whether you'd like a store voucher or an exchange (exchange shipping cost payable by you).
4. We will issue your voucher, or arrange the exchange shipment, accordingly.

7. Governing law & jurisdiction

This Return & Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes relating to it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
